SA- Despite losing to a very good Farrell team, the Friars stay at number one. They still hold the top spot due to wins over St Joes (NJ), a blowout win over Iona and a win against Cardinal Hayes. They have a matchup with Archbishop Stepinac in their regular season finale that will tell a lot (10/27)
Stepinac- The Crusaders have a very impressive full body of work. Wins against Iona, Farrell, DePaul Catholic and a convincing win against Kellenberg put them at number two.
Iona- The Gaels collected impressive wins over Monsignor Farrell and most recently Cardinal Hayes had them move up. But they still lost to the top 2 ranked teams and they will sit at number 3.
Farrell- After their incredible win against St Anthony’s they have moved up to number four But due to the recent success of lIona and Stepinac and losing to both of these teams they will sit at number 4.
Cardinal Hayes- Its a true 5 team race and the gap between the top 5 is extremely thin but Hayes will get the short end of the stick. Their defense still needs some answers and they sit at 1-2 against the top 5. Farrell’s win against the Friars was enough to jump them.
Moore Catholic- The Mavericks made a statement with a shutout victory over Chaminade. They are the clear number 6 ranked team with a win over St Peters and a 3 point loss to Monsignor Farrell.
St Peters- The Eagles continue to roll past opposition. They only lost to Moore Catholic in a very competitive game. Wins against St Johns and other AA teams put them at number 7.
St John the Baptist- The Cougars got a major bounce back win over Holy Trinity. With wins over Chaminade and Holy Trinity, they get the 8th spot.
Holy Trinity- After a close loss to St John’s, the Titans are now ranked number 9. The Titans haven’t scored an offensive touchdown the last two weeks but they will look to change that against St Anthony’s.
Chaminade- Now dropping to 1-5, The Flyers are the 10th ranked team in our poll. The 20-0 loss to Moore Catholic along with St John’s winning puts them in this spot after being ranked 8th last week.
